Zero Tolerance Notice

As a practice we continue to try and accommodate the huge demands placed on the service from morning to evening every day. Not surprisingly the demands on the GP practices have increased immensely during the course of this year as is the case across the NHS.

Presently we can be providing consultations in the different ways to between 170 to 190 patients every day and having up to 600 telephone calls coming into the surgery daily. We have noticed a few patients becoming loud, aggressive and at times rude and verbally offensive.

We would like to remind everyone we are here trying to provide the best service possible under the circumstances and would request consideration and support to allow us to do so.

We are operating a zero tolerance policy. So we will not tolerate rude and abusive behaviour. In such circumstances we have the right to refuse to treat and remove such patients from our list.

23rd Feb 2021 PATIENT NOTICE: Coronavirus (COVID-19) Vaccination

We are currently working through our priority cohort as per National directives to vaccinate our patients those are most at risk from coronavirus. If you are eligible you will be contacted by your surgery or NHS.

You DO NOT need to contact the practice, you can find all vaccination related information here at NHS website:

URGENT PATIENT NOTICE: If you need to contact the practice please do not come to the surgery unless you have been advised to attend or you need to collect or hand something to us. Until further notice for all enquires please phone the surgery.

In view of the current concerns and guidance on Coronavirus from PHE, please do NOT attend the surgery for making appointments or queries.  Please make a telephone contact instead. This is to minimise the risks both to yourselves and the other patients and staff. This is deemed necessary to maintain the continuity of the services from the Practice and reduce the risks of temporary closure.

We are not making routine pre-bookable face to face appointments. Instead you will be listed for a telephone assessment with the doctor who can advise you on the appropriate treatment or action.  Please ensure you inform us of the best telephone number to contact you on for our records.  This is to minimise the risks both to yourselves and the other patients and staff. This is deemed necessary to maintain the continuity of the services from the Practice and reduce the risks of temporary closure.
