Dr Sadhra

Dr. Kesar Sadhra has great interest in type 2 diabetes prevention. Early on, Dr Sadhra felt that introducing insulin was not a good idea, which lead him to investigate if there was a better way. At Manor Park Medical Centre we have a 90% South Asian patient population. Dr Sadhra analysed the diets of his diabetic patients and came to the logical conclusion that carbohydrates were the main offender. Since then, Dr Sadhra has been implementing low-carbohydrate diets for diabetes control with great success over the past 12 years.

Dr. Kesar Sadhra advises aspiring doctors that managing type 2 diabetes can be pretty simple as long as you eat low carb. Medications are not the first line of treatment, and the doctor will enjoy helping people to change their diets.
